Longford Town 2 Bray Wanderers 1

Bray were edged out by Longford in the EA SPORTS U20 League of Ireland Tier 2 North.
That was despite the Green and White’s taking a first half lead at Bishopsgate on Saturday.
After a bright start by the away side, Max McLoughlan hit the bar with a close range header early on.
That pressure did pay off though in the 24th minute.
Philip Cooney fed the ball to Wanderers captain Josh Kerr whose strike from the edge of the box found the bottom corner of the net.
But the home team responded well and grabbed a 32nd minute equaliser through David Owusu.
The Wicklow side lost central defender Jack Nolan to a head injury in the 37th minute, with U17 captain Max Free coming on as replacement.
There was a further injury blow as goalkeeper Edvinas Jakas was forced off at half time to be replaced by Sam Baker.
Longford took the lead in the 52 minute through Agbo Babatunde.
Despite pushing hard for the rest of the game, the visitors were unable to break down a stubborn ‘Town defence.
