Bray Wanderers 6 Wexford FC 0

Bray marked their debut at the new-look Carlisle Grounds with a resounding U20 win over Wexford.
Leading 2-0 at the break on Saturday afternoon, the Seasoders rattled in four more goals after the interval to claim their first home EA SPORTS LOI Group A win of the 2025 season.
Having beaten Shamrock Rovers 3-2 at Roadstone last weekend, the Wicklow side scored twice in a five minute spell late in the opening period.
Wanderers opened their account on the half hour.
A solo run and cross off the left flank by Destiny Avenbuan saw Ethan Cheese’s strike charged down. The rebound came to captain Joshua Kerr who expertly curled in from 22-yards to the top right hand corner of the net.
After away custodian Adam Hearne thwarted Isaac Millington in the 32nd minute, that cushion was added to in the 34th minute.
Max McLaughlin whipped in a free from the left. Jamie Ryan ghosted in at the back post to head in his first goal for the club.
The Wexford goal then lived a charmed life as Avenbuan struck the post twice in 60 seconds in the 36th and 37th minutes.
The rain came down for the second half. But it didn’t stifle the Green and White’s.
It became 3-0 in the 63rd minute. McLaughlin chased a through ball. He made the most a defensive mix-up to slot in from a tight angle.
Irish schools international Cheese then took centre.
After a surging run by Jamie Ryan, he teed up Cheese who fired past Ahearne off the left of the box in the 67th minute.
Then in the 85th minute, sub Dylan Ryan linked with fellow reserve Leon Keogh whose initial shot was parried by Hearne. Keogh follow up with the ball running to Cheese to blast to the roof of the net close in.
In the 90th minute, a sweeping cross-field move saw play switched left to right, Dylan Ryan linked with Keogh. Dylan Ryan took the return pass before curing in left footed from 16-yards.
