Shamrock Rovers 2 Bray Wanderers 2

In a game of two halves, Bray fought back from two goals down to earn an U17 LOI Academy MU17 Tier Two (South) point.
At a wet Roadstone on Sunday afternoon, Rovers led 2-0 at the break. But the Wicklow side rallied after the interval to claim a draw thanks to Ronan Dawson’s double.
When the two teams met at the start of Septembers, the Seagulls won 2-1 at Ballycorus.
But this time round, the Dubliner’s opened the scoring in the 21st minute. Charles Akimrintoyo found the net from close range after the hosts won the ball in the visitors half.
Playing in their away strip of Royal blue, Wanderers rode their luck a bit in a lacklustre first half, and looked to be going in at half time just 1-0 behind.
Unfortunately, on the stroke of half time, Goodness Ogbonna stretched the lead for Rovers.
A rejuvenated Bray outfit came out in the second period strongly, and created a number of good chances.
Both Sean Hennelly and Cristiano Bramley started causing problems from the start.
Ronan Dawson got the Seagulls back into the game with 25 minutes to go. He pounced to stab into the net from six -yards after a scramble in the Hoops box. The deserved equaliser came with three minutes to go. Ethan Cheese's free from the right was glanced in by Dawson to earn a share of the spoils.
