Cobh Ramblers 0 Bray Wanderers 1

Bray extended their unbeaten run to four U17 LOI Academy Tier Two (South) games as they left St. Colman’s Park with all three points.
Captain Ethan Cheese’s first half goal saw the Seagulls defeat third placed Cobh on Sunday afternoon.
And move to within two points of third placed Ramblers with a game in hand.
The result means that the Green and White’s will secure third position in the section if they win their last two matches against Kerry FC (away) and CK United (home).
When the clubs met last August at Ballycorus, it ended in a 1-1 draw.
On the back of just one defeat in their last nine Group fixtures in the competition before kick-off, the vital score for the visitors favour arrived in the 19th minute.
Cheese won the ball high up the pitch, beat one opponent before slotting it into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Bray had a number of other chances to extend their lead before half time, with Isaac Millington, Sean Hennelly and Bradley Byrne all going close.
In the second period, the away side had to show good resilience as injury and sickness took its toll on the team.
But resolute defending earned a clean sheet and deserved victory.
