Bray Wanderers 4 Derry City 0

Cristiano Bramley registered a brilliant 14-minute first half hat-trick as Bray continued their 100% winning start to the EA SPORTS MU17 League of Ireland Tier 2 North section.
Having netted three times last week in the home victory over Mayo FC, the striker scored in the eighth, 17th and 21st minutes as Bray overcame Derry 4-0 in hot conditions on Sunday afternoon at the Carlisle Grounds.
Despite City starting well, it took the Wicklow team just eight minutes to hit the front.
A cracking ball over the top out of defence in the home half by Bailey Shelley saw Bramley beat the offside along the right channel. He then nonchalantly lobbed the advancing goalkeeper Cai McGlynn from 15-yards.
With speed proving decisive for the opening score, it played its part when it became 2-0 nine minutes later.
Etan Kelly played a through ball down the left wing – again in his own half. Bramley outstripped the away defence. Although McGlynn got a hand to the ball of the close range low effort, it rippled the net.
Then in the 21st minute, Flynn picked up the ball outside his own penalty and broke. He then played a slide rule pass for Bramley who ran from the centre circle in his own half and left the City rearguard behind before audaciously flicking the ball up and over the Derry custodian to an open goal from the edge the box.
It wasn’t until the 66th minute that the points were rubber stamped by the Seasiders.
Again, the impressive Sheeley switched play from left to right in his own half with a raking pass to pick out the breaking Sean Hennelly on the flank. He got to the endline and centred low with Kelly arriving to slot in at the back post.
