Bray Wanderers 4 CK United 0

Three second half goals saw Bray end their home U17 LOI Academy Tier Two (South) campaign in winning fashion.
Leading 1-0 under the lights at the Carlisle Grounds on Friday evening at the break, the Green and White’s recorded a 4-0 victory over CK United.
After both teams had chances in the opening period, the home side edged in front in the 43rd minute.
Full-back Conor Lougheed threaded a pass along the right flank to release Cristiano Bramley. He got to the by-line and crossed low were Isaac Millington converted low at the near post.
When the two teams met last July at Scats Quakers Park, the Wicklow side won 2-0. That score-line was repeated by the 55th minute.
Captain Sean Hennelly slipped in Millington on the left of the box. His cross-shot was pushed out by Carlow/Kilkenny goalkeeper Darragh O'Neill. But Hennelly followed up to score off the rebound.
It became 3-0 in the 77th minute.
The hosts won possession off a throw near the halfway line on the right channel. Sub Sean Howard found Bramley who set Hennelly free to beat the offside. He then deftly lobbed O’Neill from 14-yards.
With what was the last attack of the contest in the 90th minute, Wanderers grabbed a fourth.
Hennelly span off his marker and burst from the left wing into the penalty area. His drive was saved by O’Neill. But Bramley followed up to blast into the roof of the net from close range.

* Elsewhere in the section on Friday, Kerry FC defeated Limerick FC 6-1 at Frank Healy Park.
Then on Saturday, group winners Galway United beat Cobh Ramblers 3-1 at St. Colman’s Park.
All the results meant that Bray are currently in fourth place with an away trip to Kerry at Mounthawk Park still to play.
The match is provisionally set for 2.00pm on Monday October 28.
A win will move above Shamrock Rovers to third place in the charts.
