Treaty United 0 Bray Wanderers 4

Billy O’Neill’s hat-trick was the highlight as Bray advanced the Semi Finals of the EA SPORTS U17 Mark Farren Cup as two goals in each half overcame Treaty.
Having alrrady knocked out Drogheda United and Dundalk, two goals late in the first half paved the way for the Quarter Final success at the University of Limerick on Sunday afternoon.
On the back of a run of just two defeats in their last 12 games in all competitions, the Wicklow side made it two victories in the space over eight days Shannonside having won against Limerick FC last week.
After having the better of the opening period, the Seagulls found the breakthrough in the last minute of the normal time in the first half.
Skipper Ethan Cheese played Kian Dowling in down the right and his cross was converted by O'Neill.
The Republic of Ireland U16 striker repaid the compliment in the first minute of stoppage time, when he played in Dowling who finished to make it 2-0.
With the third score always going to be crucial, it went the visitors way ten minutes into the second half.
Centre back Luke Smith played a ball over the top of the United defence, with O'Neill lobbing it expertly into the goal.
Having scored against Dundalk in the previous round, O’Neill completed his treble in the 66th minute by claiming his 17th goal of the season to make it 4-0. After good work off the left wing, the forward struck low from 20-yards into the bottom left corner of the net.
