Sligo Rovers 1 Bray Wanderers 3
Three second half goals saw Bray register their first away victory in the EA SPORTS MU15 League of Ireland Tier 2 North.
After a score-less first period at the Showgrounds (Astro Turf), under scorching hot playing conditions on Saturday afternoon, Wanderers defeated Sligo 3-1.
In a much improved second period display compared the opening half stalemate; the Wicklow team were awarded a 47th minute penalty after a Rovers player was deemed to have handled the ball in the box. Alex Mernagh made no mistake from the spot-kick.
However, the Bit O’Red levelled matters in the 56th minute.
The visitors lost possession with Robert Ruane slipping Eoin Doherty clear to finish low from 15-yards.
But the Seagulls went back in front just four minutes later.
From the ‘D, Kyle Jackson unleashed a thunderbolt that flew into the roof of the net.
The points for the away team were sealed in the fifth minute of time added on.
After neat play up the Bray right flank, substitute Danny Howard found himself with his back to goal. He swivelled and scored with a low drive to the left corner of the net.

* Elsewhere in the section, Drogheda United overcame Longford Town 3-0 at the Drogheda Institute of Further Education. Derry City beat Dundalk 3-1 at Dungiven Celtic Youth Football Club, while Finn Harps defeated Mayo FC 8-1 at Umbro Milebush Park.
All the results mean that Derry set the pace on 12 points from four games. Finn Harps are second on nine points from three fixtures. Bray are in third place on six points from three fixtures, alongside Drogheda (also three games played).
