Limerick FC 0 Bray Wanderers 5

Bray made it two victories in a row to remain joint top of the U15 EA SPORTS LOI League 2024 Phase 2 – Tier 2.
Having recorded a comprehensive 10-1 win over Cobh Ramblers in their first outing in the section last week at Ballycorus, the Seagulls followed up by beating Limerick 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The five goals were spread across the three periods at Charleville AFC.
The only score in the first third arrived in the 25th minute. A left wing cross from Charlie Quinn was brilliantly volleyed in by Jamie Lynch.
That advantage was doubled in the 33rd minute. Quinn’s in-swinging corner was met with a fine header by central defender Albie Tormey-Murphy.
Then in the 50th minute, after good play down left side, Louis Rothwell cut back on his right foot just inside the box and fired into the top right corner of the net.
Substitute Charlie Byrne made it 4-0 in the 71st minute. He ran onto a through ball by Karl Ralph to finish neatly into the bottom right corner.
The Shannonsiders were reduced to ten players in the 73rd minute.
With ten minutes of normal time remaining, a direct free kick from substitute Etan Kelly arrowed high into the left corner of the goal.
