Finn Harps 5 Bray Wanderers 0
Three late scores saw Bray’s U15’s fall away to Finn Harps in the EA SPORTS League of Ireland Tier 2 North.
In a tight opening period on Saturday afternoon at Letterkenny Community Centre, the home side led 1-0 early on.
But a disputed second goal in first half stoppage time had them 2-0 up at the break.
Harps then netted twice the closing stages of the contest to seal the victory.
When the teams met in the reverse fixture at the Carlisle Grounds back in August, the Donegal outfit won 4-3.
But this time round, Odhran McHugh got on the end of a long through ball to head in with 13 minutes on the clock.
Then with the match in the first minute of time added on, McHugh – who appeared offside – ran through to make it 2-0.
The striker completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute. He gathered a free-kick, swivelled and finished well.
In the 85th minute, the ball was pulled back from the byline and Lee McDaid converted from just inside the box.
Then on 90, Noah Noonan’s deflected free-kick found the net.
