Cobh Ramblers 1 Bray Wanderers 7
Bray maintained their 100% winning record in the U14 Eddie Wallace Cup by recording a comprehensive 7-1 away victory over Cobh.
Having defeated Klub Kildare 4-1 the week previous at the Carlisle Grounds, the Wicklow team left the Stephen Ireland Astro on Sunday afternoon with a 7-1 LOI EA Sports Group 3 away win.
The group of players as a whole are responding to the hard work being put in during training.
In a blistering start, the visitors led 3-0 after the opening third (of 30 minutes). Charlie McMorrow gave the young Seasiders a sixth minute lead. Bobby Haybyrne then grabbed a quick-fire double in the tenth and 14th minutes.
In the middle third, Nathan Roberts Byrne made it 4-0 in the 40th minute before the striker found the net again in the 45th miute.
In the final period, McMorrow notched Wanderers’ sixth goal in the 65th minute.
Ramblers puled one back five minutes later through Jack Thornton.
Substitute Alex Fox came off the bench to finish off the Green and White's scoring with a fantastic free kick in the 74th minute.
