Wanderers come from behind to share the points with Finn Harps.

Bray Wanderers 2–2 Finn Harps

6 April 2026

Gareth Danaher reports from the Carlisle Grounds.

Bray Wanderers and Finn Harps played out an entertaining 2–2 draw in a lively encounter that
ebbed and flowed at the Carlisle Grounds on Easter Monday evening.

Harps took the lead early on in the 18th minute with a Conor Tourish header into the left hand
corner of the net. That was the defender’s third goal of the season and the Donegal men led at
the break.

Bray boss, Paul Heffernan made three substitutions at the break, hoping for a fast impact which
to his delight was to be as Sean Brennan dinked an effort from outside the box over Lorenzo
Piaia just 45 seconds into the second half.

Temiloluwa Ajibola had the visitors ahead again as he flicked in an effort from Alex Fanle cross
but Heffernan will be delighted with his second sub Richard Ferizaj who equalised the game for
the Seagulls as a well combined move in midfield found Ferizaj on the edge of the box saw him
find space and pelt an effort into the top left corner beating the Italian shot stopper.

Both sides pushed for a winner in the final minutes, with chances at either end, but neither could
find the decisive breakthrough. In the end, a draw was a fair reflection of a competitive and
entertaining contest, with both teams showing resilience in equal measure.

The Seagulls return to action next Saturday, 11th April with an away trip to Longford Town. Kick
off is at 7:30pm and we hope you all can make the journey to support the boys in green.
