Match Preview - UCD v Bray Wanderers 1

With three games remaining in the normal league First Division season, Bray make the short trip to the Belfield Bowl on Friday to face to play-off rivals UCD. 

The Wicklow club go into the contest unbeaten their last three games. 

Just four points currently separates the two teams in the table – with Wanderers in fifth position and the Students in second place. 

 

 

Central defender Paul Murphy could return to the squad having been side-lined of late with injury. 

But fellow defender Evan Osam is rated doubtful. 

 

 

The two teams met on the opening day of the season back in February. 

UCD won 2-1 at the Carlisle Grounds. First half goals by Ciaran Behan and Harvey O’Brien had them 2-0 up before Ben Feeney pulled one back late on. 

But in the reverse fixture at the Belfield Bowl back in May, it finished in a score-less draw. 

Back at the Carlisle Grounds last August, the ‘College won 1-0 with Michael Raggett on the mark.
