Bray Wanderers Match Preview
League of Ireland First Division
Treaty United
Friday June 7, Markets Field
Kick-off 7.45pm
Bray play their final away fixture before the 2024 mid-season break by making the trip to the Markets Field on Friday to take on Treaty United.
First Team coaches Lorcan Fitzgerald and Paul Heffernan will again take charge of team affairs.
Ten points currently separate the two clubs in the table – with the Wicklow team in fifth position and the Limerick side in eighth place.
Goalkeeper Jimmy Corcoran, striker Ben Feeney as well as defenders Cole Omorehiomwan and Evan Osam are sidelined with injury.
It ended 2-2 when the sides last met at the Markets Field. The Limerick outfit were 2-0 ahead at half time last March when Mark Walsh and Thomas Considine scored in the opening period.
But the Seasiders rallied after the break to draw level with goals by Shane Griffin (penalty) and Thomas Morgan.
At the Carlisle Grounds back in April, goals by Kieran Cruise and Peter Grogan gave Bray the three points in a 2-1 win, with Leon Kirrane pulling one back for the Shannonsiders.
