“It’s going to be a very tough game,” said First Team Coach Paul Heffernan.
“It was a tough game when we played them at home last April. Since then, they’ve picked up and been on a good run, especially at home. Their home form has been very strong.”
He continued “They’ve good players, especially in the attacking area of the pitch. We know it will a test in Limerick. But we’ll be ready for it.”
Reflecting on the first half of the campaign, Heffernan went to explain “Overall, we’re happy with how the team are progressing. And how the squad have progressed. Results have been good – especially at home.”
He went on to say “We brought a lot of young players into the team. It was a new squad. It took a bit of time to gel together. And find the right formation; and right system. The players have been brilliant. They’ve worked hard. We’ve managed to pick up some good results. Overall. We’re happy where we are.”
