Bray Wanderers Match Preview

League of Ireland First Division

Finn Harps

Friday August 2, Finn Park

Kick-off 7.45pm

With the third phase of the 2024 season coming to a close, Bray face a play-off six-pointer against rivals Finn Harps in Ballybofey on Friday.
First Team coaches Lorcan Fitzgerald and Paul Heffernan will again take charge of team affairs.
After last week’s set of results, the two clubs swapped places in the table.
Just a single point currently separates the teams in the table – with the Wicklow outfit in fourth position and the Donegal side in fifth place.

TEAM NEWS

Defender Jamie Duggan is ruled out for the Green and White’s along with striker Cristian Magerusan.
Striker Thomas Morgan has left the club by mutual consent.
But defender Evan Osam returns to the squad after a spell out injured.

PREVIOUS MEETING IN 2024

It’s honours even so far in the two clashes so far in the campaign.
When the teams met at the start of April in Ballybofey, goals at the end of each half by David Cawley and Tony McNamee secured Finn Harps the points in a 2-0 win.
But in the reverse fixture at the Carlisle Grounds last May, Shane Griffin’s effort just before half time settled the tie 1-0 in the Seagulls favour.
