Match Preview - Finn Harps v Bray Wanderers Monday August 4

Bray will look to build on their recent good form by making the 530km round journey to Finn Park on Monday to take on Finn Harps in the SSE Airtricity Men's First Division. 

“Going to Donegal, we know how hard that’s going to be,” said First Team Coach Paul Heffernan. 

After Friday’s victory over Treaty United at the Carlisle Grounds, he went on to say “They obviously beat us well up there earlier in the season. We’ll have to get the lads ready, and recovered on Sunday. And make sure we’re ready to go for a big game on Monday.” 

 

 

Striker Danú Kinsella Bishop is an injury concern after departing early against Treaty United last Friday. 

On-loan winger Matthew Britton and midfielder Jamie Ryan are doubts. 

 

 

When the teams met last March in Ballybofey, Finn Harps won 5-0 with goals by Max Hutchinson, Gavin Hodgins, Mikey Place, Dara McGuinness, and Tony McNamee. 

But in the return fixture last May, the Seagulls took all three points at the Carlisle Grounds. 

Gavin Hodgins gave the visitors the lead only for Billy O’Neill, Max Murphy, and Danú Kinsella Bishop to find the net in the 3-1 success for the Green and White’s.
