Bray Wanderers Match Preview

League of Ireland First Division

Cork City

Friday February 27, Munster FA Turner’s Cross Stadium

Kick-off 7.45pm

In what will be the first meeting of the clubs since September 2024. Bray make the trip to Munster for the second week in a row to take on Cork.
Both clubs will put their unbeaten starts to the campaign on the line on Friday at Munster FA Turner’s Cross Stadium, with the Leesiders having maximum points from their opening two fixtures, while undefeated Wanderers have secured four points from their first two outings.
But Seagulls First Team Coach Paul Heffernan is relishing to the top of the table clash.
“Cork City at a packed Turners Cross is an exciting fixture for us, and it’s one we are definitely looking forward to,” he said.
“They have started the season well and have quality all across the team.”
He went on stress “We will need to show the same attitude to defending that we showed last week in Treaty, and be brave enough in possession to cause them problems.”
