Match Preview - Bray Wanderers v UCD Match Preview

In the last match that brings the third phase of the 2024 League season coming to a close, Bray face a play-off six-pointer against rivals UCD at the Carlilse Grounds on Friday. 

First Team coaches Lorcan Fitzgerald and Paul Heffernan will again take charge of team affairs. 

Both clubs go into the contest unbeaten their last three games. 

Just a three points currently separates the two teams in the table – with the Wicklow outfit in fourth position and the Students in third place. 

 

 

Defender Jamie Duggan is ruled out for the Green and White’s along with striker Cristian Magerusan. 

Defender Evan Osam and midfielder Shane Griffin are rated doubtful. 

But Callum Thompson could return to the squad. 

 

 

The two teams met on the opening day of the season back in February. 

UCD won 2-1 at the Carlisle Grounds. 

First half goals by Ciaran Behan and Harvey O’Brien had them 2-0 up before Ben Feeney pulled one back late on. 

But in the reverse fixture at the Belfield Bowl back in May, it finished in a score-less draw.
