Bray Wanderers Match Preview
League of Ireland First Division
Longford Town
Thursday July 4, Carlisle Grounds
Kick-off 7.45pm
After the mid-season break, Bray return the Carlisle Grounds for the first time in a month by hosting Longford Town on Thursday.
First Team coaches Lorcan Fitzgerald and Paul Heffernan will again take charge of team affairs.
Currently, 17 points currently separate the two clubs in the table – with the Wicklow outfit in fourth place and the Midlanders in tenth position.
Goalkeeper Jimmy Corcoran, striker Ben Feeney as well as defenders Cole Omorehiomwan, Evan Osam and Jamie Duggan are sidelined with injury.
The two teams met in a rearranged fixture last March at the Carlisle Grounds.
Karl Chambers early effort for the visitors was cancelled out by Thomas Morgan’s late equaliser in a 1-1 draw.
Then last April at Bishopsgate, the Seagulls won 3-0 with second half goals by Peter Grogan, Max Murphy, and Harry Groome.
