Bray Wanderers Match Preview

League of Ireland First Division

Finn Harps

Friday October 11, Carlisle Grounds

Kick-off 7.45pm

In the club’ s final home league game of the scheduled 2024 season, Bray entertain play-off rivals Finn Harps on Friday at the Carlisle Grounds.
The Wicklow team go into the contest unbeaten their last four games.
Just five points currently separates the two teams in the table – with Wanderers in joint-fourth position and the Donegal side in sixth place.
Victory for the Seasiders would secure a top five placing and a spot in the play-offs.

TEAM NEWS

PREVIOUS MEETINGS IN 2024

When the teams met at the start of April in Ballybofey, goals at the end of each half by David Cawley and Tony McNamee secured Finn Harps the points in a 2-0 win.
But in the reverse fixture at the Carlisle Grounds last May, Shane Griffin’s effort just before half time settled the tie 1-0 in the Seagulls favour.
Back in Donegal last August, John O’Sullivan’s opener was cancelled out by Jamie Watson by the interval. Guillermo Almirall popped up with a second period winner for the Green and White’s in the 2-1 victory.
