Bray Wanderers Match Preview
League of Ireland First Division
Athlone Town
Friday April 4, Athlone Town Stadium
Kick-off 7.45pm
In what is the club’s fifth match in just 15 days, Bray make the trip on Friday to face Athlone Town at the Athlone Town Stadium.
Being the penultimate game in the first series of fixtures this season, five points currently separates the teams in the standings.
After hard-earned back-to-back wins over Cobh and UCD since last week, Wanderers First Team Coach Paul Heffernan is looking to build momentum.
“The squad had been tested by the schedule. It’s a third game in eight days too. The important thing is that if we have to make changes, we have to make sure that we have energy, and the intensity to stay within the team.”
He continued “We can’t drop our levels. We have to maintain that level to be competitive. We have to make sure the lads that have been playing recover well, and make sure the rest of the lads are fully up to speed, and ready to go.”
TEAM NEWS
