Bray Wanderers Match Preview

League of Ireland First Division

Finn Harps

Monday April 1, Finn Park

Kick-off 5.00pm.

In what will be their club’s fourth First Division match in just 11 days. Bray make the long haul to Donegal to face Finn Harps on Easter Monday.

Unbeaten in their last two outings, the Seagulls have used no less than 21 players in the three quick-fire clashes with Wexford, Longford, and Cobh.

“It’s a big game for us. We were back on Sunday (after Friday’s game with Cobh). And accessed everything. Checked whose available then prepare for the trip on Monday” explained First Team Head Coach.

“We know it’s going to be a tough game. But as we’ve all seen by result across the board so far this season, there’s no easy games in this Division.”

TEAM NEWS

Defender Max Murphy serves the second of three-match ban.

Midfielder Darren Craven (hamstring) and goalkeeper Jimmy Corcoran (shoulder) remain out.

They have been joined on the treatment table by the strike duo of Ben Feeney and Cristian Magerusan along with defender Cole Omorehiomwan.

“We had a lot of young players involved against Cobh on Friday. Ten of the squad were under 20, and another three just 22 or younger. That bodes well for the future of the club,” Ryan remarked.

“They (young players) are here now. They are in the first team squad. But they need to learn quickly. We’re probably missing a few of our senior players that we need to get back onto the pitch as soon as we can.”
